PLM provides non-traditional offerings such as Bachelor in Community Health Services (BCHS) for midwifery graduates implemented nationwide in the students’ locale on a trimester basis, with learning modules and with the help of modern technology.

This program is implemented by the College of Nursing in coordination with the Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines (IMAP, Inc.). Vis-a-vis this program is the Master in Community Health Services (MCHS) designed for professional health practitioners. Both offerings have been tailored to help midwives and other health professionals upgrade their competencies and empower them to qualify for higher posts in their organizations. Over 4,000 midwives have already graduated from these programs.

These programs, however, are undergoing refinements as of yet.
